Who we are
The Centre d’animation François-De Laval, created in 1993 by the Quebec Seminary, aims to make known and love the life, works and spirituality of New France’s first bishop, François de Laval Our servicesTo attain its mission, the Centre concentrates its efforts on four actions:
Promotion
By making the Saint better known with various educational tools, publicities and exploratory articles on different subjects on the bishop, promoted on many communication vectors. A newsletter is published twice per year.
Broadcasting
By supporting and developing devotion towards our Saint by the broadcasting of various pamphlets, prayers and relics. The Centre initiates and promotes Masses and other religious activities. The sale of articles of devotion is a good way of promoting this devotion in houses and institutions.
Activities
By conducting various activities, either for schools, parishes or pilgrims, at your invitation and in your institution, at the cathedral, at the funerary chapel, with walking tours or at the Center, which is specially fitted out for groups. The Center has many educational tools, such as PowerPoint presentations, walking tours, rallies, conferences, and retreats to touch a vaster public.
